2VIP project flies to Sweden!! And this time the protagonists are the TWO-VIPER that is to say young people who, with different roles and on multiple occasions, have been protagonists of participatory actions in democratic life. From 26th to 30th September 25 young people from Italy, Romania, Poland, UK and Sweden are gathering in Örkelljunga, south Sweden, to share an experience of training on the use of social media to foster youth participation in democratic life. At the same time, the 3rd LTT for youth workers takes place having the focus on the potential of social media for no-profit organizations.
The location is an enchanting centre of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, which stands on the shores of lake Hjälmsjön. A complex consisting of several units, some used as a dormitory with single, twin or triple bedrooms and common places and others used as place of training with classrooms as well as a main building hosting the kitchen and a large dining room overlooking the lake.
The activities follow the rhythm of two agendas – one for youth workers and the other for young learners – that includes seminars, workshop and group work together with exchange and team building activities.
