During the Days of Europe in Oleśnica, a Polish city in Lower Silesia, the 2VIP project was promoted by the Center for Education and Social Research. On September 17 and 18, the Main Market Square became a European City with lots of attractions for its inhabitants.
At the tent of the Municipal Center for Culture and Art and Europe Direct Oleśnica, all interested parties could learn about our project and join the 2VIPER group, play in the nearby European Wheel of Fortune answering questions about Europe or take a photo with Sirius.
The local youth was very interested in the project idea and the activities that we carried out as part of it. The Erasmus+ program itself was also very popular, many questions were asked about the possibilities of cooperation with young people all over Europe. One of participants, Kinga, emphasized: “I cannot imagine a world without Erasmus, without the possibility of meeting peers from other countries, traveling, learning in multicultural groups. Nothing opens us up to other people and other cultures, nothing else gives us such great motivation to act.”
We are constantly encouraging young people to join our VIPER group, and in the meantime we are preparing for the next project meeting in Sweden.
