The Self-Government Laboratory of the Batory Foundation is a project aimed at female and local government officials who want to introduce a model of local government functioning in their communes, open to cooperation and dialogue with the local community.<\/span><\/p>\n

In a series of trainings, workshops, knowledge and good practice exchange sessions, the participants of the Laboratory, supported by experts and experts, develop innovative solutions responding to contemporary challenges and needs of the local community.<\/span><\/p>\n

Participants of the Laboratory are young women and men of various levels: councilors \/ councilors, village leaders \/ village leaders, village heads \/ village leaders, mayors \/ mayors, who are ready to cooperate with residents and to seek innovative solutions to local problems.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Laboratory has a practical purpose – its role is to test, create and popularize activities that improve the functioning of local government as a community based on dialogue and cooperation with residents. Participation in the project lasts two years. In the first year, participants receive expert assistance in the field of local government law. In the second year, they work on innovative solutions for participation and social services that they can apply in their municipalities.<\/span><\/p>\n

The participants of the Laboratory cooperate with the participants of the Masz G\u0142os campaign and the Team of Local Government Experts.<\/span><\/p>\n
